June 24 and 25 2023 from 9:30am-6pm

Venue: Simon Fraser University, Student Union Building Ballroom

All Day $7 parking

Rounds: 6 rounds Swiss format

Entry fee: $65 early bird before June 1, $75 After. (SFU Students, $25 early bird, $35 after) 

Play up fee: $50 if less than 100 points. No play up if beyond 100 points

Day 1

• Round 1 at 10:00  a.m.
• Round 2 at 12:30 p.m
• Round 3 at 3:00 p.m

Day 2

• Round 4 at 9:30 a.m.
• Round 5 at 12:00 noon.
• Round 6 at 2:30p.m.

Time format: 50 min + 10 sec/move increment

POLICIES:

• No food in the playing area
• Photos are allowed for the first 5 minutes of each  round, but please be discrete and respectful to not disturb players
• Silence is required in the playing area while games are in progress
• All electronics capable of making noise, communicating, or playing chess must be powered fully off while playing
• Children Under the age of 13 must have a parent/guardian in a premise at all times
• By signing up to this event, you have given us   permission to take photos of yourself during this event
• Full Refund on or before June 10, 50% Refund after June 10, NO Refund 48 hours before the event
